Hello everyone! We have updated the We UC application with the changes listed below.

Major Contacts Refactor Completed

• Completed a significant refactor of the Contacts module, improving the overall architecture, maintainability, and future scalability of the feature.

• Improved contacts management and permissions.

• Self-only users can now edit or delete shared contacts that they originally created.

• Fixed an issue where the favourite (star) icon did not work correctly on first use.

• Improved device favourites ordering to ensure newly added favourites appear at the bottom of the list.

Coming Next Week

• Final improvements related to contact information updates and contact display consistency across the platform.

• Additional contact-related enhancements currently in progress and planned for release next week.

Call Flow

• Added automatic saving while building call flows.

• Fixed an issue where draft call flows could not be published without making additional changes.

Calls

• Fixed waveform connection issues.

• Fixed an issue affecting merged calls in the Desktop application.

• Improved display of international caller IDs.

Meetings

• Improved meeting settings handling by using account/user Video Meet settings when joining meetings.

• Added a login button to the web meeting join page.

• Fixed an issue that could cause meeting recordings to stop when participants left a meeting.

Settings & User Management

• Users can now edit settings by default where applicable.

• Updated voicemail transcription display logic and related settings.

Back Office

• Updated device ordering and display within Back Office.

• Improved user onboarding and navigation by updating redirect behaviour to the start page.

New: Keyboard Shortcuts Support (desktop app)

• Added support for configurable keyboard shortcuts.

• Users can now assign actions to custom key combinations for quicker access to the application and frequently used features.

• Supports both Windows and Mac, with platform-specific shortcut options available.

• Shortcuts can be configured individually through Settings.

• For Mac users, additional system permissions may be required. A setup guide has been provided to assist with configuration.
